MOTION504 BRINGS ILLUSTRATIONS TO LIFE IN STYLIZED SPOT FOR WILDBLUE

Design and animation studio motion504 recently completed the stylized animated spot “Why Wait”, for ad agency Paulsen Marketing Communications and WildBlue, a satellite-speed Internet provider. motion504 Creative Directors/Designers Andy Reynolds, Amy Schmitt and Scott Wenner worked closely with the print illustrators to hone the visual style of the spot, and incorporate original illustrated elements that worked specifically for TV. For motion504, the challenge was creating stylized moving characters for a client that had never had people in their ads. Proving they were up to the challenge, motion504 transformed WildBlue’s 2D print style into a charming TV spot.

ENDLESS NOISE AND DJ JASON BENTLEY JOIN FORCES ON REMIX FOR NEW CHEVY SPOT

Endless Noise recently collaborated with renowned DJ and music supervisor, Jason Bentley to create the music behind the new Chevy spot entitled “Art.” Bentley found a remix he had done on a track, “Lazy Eye,” by the Silversun Pickups, which complemented the spot’s idea of turning precision to art, but needed to be refined to fit the picture. Endless Noise used this opportunity to launch its relationship with Jason Bentley to the next level by providing him with the production and creative support needed to flesh out the remix. This type of collaboration reinforces Endless Noise's philosophy of focusing on the composers and artists it represents.

CUT + RUN HELPS CHRYSLER/JEEP RACE TO THE FINISH LINE WITH HUMOROUS NEW CAMPAIGN

“You talk, we listen” is at the heart of the new humorous campaign for Chrysler that places auto execs and employees face-to-face with opinionated customers. The package was edited by Cut + Run’s Dan Swietlik with three spots produced and delivered in just four days. To accomplish the elevated task, Swietlik and assistant Tad Fatum edited on set recording the live video feed and rating takes for selects as they happened on day one. Day two had Swietlik cutting the second spot in a similar fashion while Tad edited on another laptop laying dailies over the video feed rough-cut from day before. By the following shoot day, three laptop systems were on hand, so that the commercials could be delivered by the deadline.
