Nationally recognized comedy director Matt Pittroff of Twist partnered with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ad Council to create a television spot in multiple lengths for their national multimedia public service advertising campaign for Financial Literacy, Feed the Pig. This campaign helps 25- to 34-year-olds take control of their finances and add saving to their daily lives. TWO FESTS, TWO FILMS FOR CUT + RUN’S JAY NELSON

Two Fests, Two Films for Cut + Run’s Jay Nelson

Cut + Run’s Jay Nelson kicked off the New Year with two films in special festival screenings. Nelson co-edited and co-executive produced the documentary feature Wild in the Streets, which enjoyed its World Premiere at Slamdance 2012. He also directed, edited and produced the short film The Third Crossing, which screened at the second annual Waimea Ocean Film Festival.

Premiering at Slamdance 2012 is the feature documentary Wild in the Streets. Co-EPd and edited by Jay Nelson and Steve Prestemon, the film delves deep into the annual rivalry between two sides of a rugged English town who compete in a 2000 year old game of football. Nelson also served as co-writer of the film with Peter Baxter, telling the history of this brutal sport that is the grandfather of soccer, football and rugby with imagery from cinematographer Lance Acord.

SUPERLOUNGE’S JORDAN BRADY HAND PICKED TO HELM SHORT FILM “HAROLD’S BAD DAY”; PREMIERED AT SLAMDANCE 2012 FILM FESTIVAL

Superlounge’s Jordan Brady Hand Picked to Helm Short Film “Harold’s Bad Day”; Premiered at Slamdance 2012 Film Festival

Superlounge Director Jordan Brady was hand-selected to helm “Harold’s Bad Day,” winner of the 2011 Slamdance Short Screenplay Competition. A proud Slamdance alum himself, two of Brady’s films “Dill Scallion” and “I AM COMIC” premiered at the festival. With “Harold’s Bad Day,” Brady took on the annual tradition in which filmmakers are challenged to make a short film in 99 days with a budget of $99 dollars. The 10-minute, all-digital short made its world premiere at the Slamdance 2012 Film Festival, which begins this week in Park City, Utah.
